Great opportunity: we are hiring a chiller technician in Guilford County, North Carolina. The job is in an HVAC service company. What we are looking for: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms Your main tasks: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
