Sand plant operator — Sule Tankakar

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Sule Tankakar, Jigawa State. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
