Bakery assistant wanted in Newcastle upon Tyne

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards We offer £2,550 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
