Crane operator wanted in City of Buena Vista

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in City of Buena Vista, Virginia. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day-to-day duties: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $8,750 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
