We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Marshall County, Alabama. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing You will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
