Lawn care technician wanted in City of Emporia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lawn care technician in City of Emporia, Virginia. You will work at a private estate garden. Day-to-day duties: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Happy to work outdoors in all weather At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
