Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. You will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
