Reinforcement fitter • Providence County, Rhode Island

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Providence County, Rhode Island. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day to day you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
