Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Washakie County, Wyoming. The role involves: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
