Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Christian County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Your main tasks: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode 1+ years on the tools preferred.
