Vacancy available: we are hiring a vehicle body repairer in Bath and North East Somerset, England. Ideal candidate: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines Day-to-day duties: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer £2,950 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
