Scaffolder — Knox County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolder in Knox County, Maine. You will work on a bridge maintenance job. On a typical shift you will tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage. What we are looking for: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
