Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Fort Bend County, Texas. You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Day-to-day duties: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
