Gas commissioning technician • Emmons County, North Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Emmons County, North Dakota. The job is in a gas distribution network. The role involves test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
