Brick mason — Haines Borough

Join our team: we are hiring a brick mason in Haines Borough, Alaska. You will work on a busy housing site. On the job you will handle: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 2+ years on the tools preferred.
