Great opportunity: concrete finisher (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Choctaw County, Mississippi. Day to day you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
