Steel fixing chargehand — Fremont County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Fremont County, Colorado. You will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
