Cnc turning machinist — Oakland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Oakland County, Michigan. You will work at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls The role involves run first-off inspection and sign off the part; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; load and index turning tools in the turret; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed.
