We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Kearney County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On the job you will handle: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
