Trainee butcher — Calderdale

On a typical shift you will season and marinate meat on request; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts.
