Toolroom milling operator — City of Edinburgh

We are recruiting: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in City of Edinburgh, Scotland. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
