Great opportunity: tig welder (Tennessee)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Pickett County, Tennessee. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection You will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job.
