Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area

Immediate opening: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area, Lagos State. You will be based at a busy construction site. Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Day-to-day duties: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Pay around ₦245,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
