Great opportunity: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Woodbury County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy tyre bay. What we are looking for: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles The role involves: • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
