Stainless steel welder wanted in Smyth County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Smyth County, Virginia. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
