Now hiring: stamping press operator (Tennessee)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Johnson County, Tennessee. You will work at a busy press shop. The role involves: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
