Immediate opening: precision welder (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Lexington County, South Carolina. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Your main tasks: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
