Shuttering and concrete hand wanted in Cass County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Cass County, Iowa. The job is on a road and bridge project. Day-to-day duties: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
