Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in El Dorado County, California. You will work in an open-cast quarry. Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites You will clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
