Immediate opening: brick and block layer (Nevada)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Churchill County, Nevada. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. The role involves spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
