HVAC-R technician — Lee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Lee County, Illinois. You will be based at a food processing plant. The role involves: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Clean condenser and evaporator coils What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Rotating shifts.
