Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Atchison County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day to day you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
