Now hiring: we are hiring a horticulturist in Brookings County, South Dakota. You will work at a plant nursery. What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Day to day you will check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines.
