What we are looking for: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop The role involves strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates.
