Vertical milling machine operator • Borough of Thurrock, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Borough of Thurrock, England. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. Your main tasks: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed You should have: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Overtime paid at a premium rate.
