Reinforcement fitter wanted in Shelby County

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Shelby County, Missouri. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. The role involves cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
