Now hiring: we are hiring a bread baker in Nassau County, New York. You will be based at a busy bakery. What we are looking for: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Your main tasks: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
