Groundskeeper • Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a landscaping company. The role involves apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish 3+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
