Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Bath and North East Somerset, England. Day to day you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; load and index turning tools in the turret; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
