Electrical technician • City of Martinsville, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring an electrical technician in City of Martinsville, Virginia. The job is at a residential housing project. What we are looking for: • Familiar with megger, multimeter and clamp meter • Normal colour vision for cable identification • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams Your main tasks: • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
