Earthmoving equipment operator wanted in Pickens County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Pickens County, Alabama. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Your main tasks: • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger Overtime paid at a premium rate.
