We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Jefferson County, Iowa. Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat The role involves keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
