PVC window installer — Plymouth County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Plymouth County, Iowa. The job is at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Your main tasks: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
