Vacancy available: automotive refinish painter (Alaska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Petersburg Borough, Alaska. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code Ideal candidate: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE Six days a week, one day off.
