Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Warwickshire, England. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Your main tasks: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 2+ years on the tools preferred.
