We are recruiting: pipe tig welder (Jigawa State)

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Yankwashi, Jigawa State. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 1+ years on the tools preferred.
