Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Ritchie County

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Ritchie County, West Virginia. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Full-time with occasional weekends.
