Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania. The job is on a lift modernisation project. The role involves: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
