The role involves: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
