Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Anoka County, Minnesota. The job is on a production line. On a typical shift you will segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Meals and transport allowance provided.
